CNA is a not-for-profit organization specializing in providing objective analyses and evaluations of government programs, policies, operations, and systems to government agencies and foundations. We are the oldest organization in the U.S. that conducts such analysis in support of national defense, and much of our work continues to be with the Department of Defense. However, we also evaluate programs for the Departments of Education, Health and Human Services, and Homeland Security, among others. We are looking for policy analysts with an economics background in applied micro, especially in the areas of labor, education, health, energy, environment, or industrial organization. Applicants should have or be nearing completion of a Ph.D. in economics (or have a Master's Degree with experience); possess a strong quantitative background; have an interest in applied, policy-oriented research; and possess the ability to write, speak, and present clearly.
