Bank of Mexico, the Mexican central bank, is interested in hiring experienced or newly qualified PhDs in economics, finance or related fields for its headquarters in Mexico City to work at its Financial Stability Division (General Directorate of Financial Stability). The main tasks of the potential candidates would be to carry out high-quality policy-oriented research, both for publication in refereed journals and to guide policy decisions, as well as to produce reports for the Bank's senior management. A good command of spoken and written Spanish is required. Bank of Mexico provides an excellent working and research environment. Salary and benefits are competitive.
