The Research Department may have openings for economists doing research in any of the following fields: macroeconomic theory, monetary economics, empirical macroeconomics, and international economics. Main responsibilities include actively engaging in academic research for publication in top-tier academic journals; briefing the Bank's president on policy issues; and writing nontechnical articles for our Business Review. Excellent research skills are vital, as are good writing and speaking skills. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in economics or reasonable expect to complete all requirements for the degree by September 2014.
