The Department of Health Policy and Management of Columbia University's Mailman School of Public Health seeks applicants for a faculty position in Economics/Health Care Finance at the assistant, associate, or full professor level, beginning 09/01/2014. We seek scholars with a doctoral degree in economics/finance who will be able to conduct research in health economics or health care financial management and teach master degree courses in health economics, health care managerial accounting and financial management.
Qualifications:
Tenure track: At the assistant professor level, the department requires potential for excellence in teaching and research, and ability to secure independent funding.
Tenure: At the associate or full professor level, the department requires a strong teaching, research and publication record in addition to the ability to secure independent funding.
Teaching experience in health care managerial accounting and in health care financial management preferred
