Full Text of JOE Listing:
The RCUK Centre for Copyright & New Business Models in the Creative Economy (CREATe - www.create.ac.uk) is established with initial funding of £5m from the Arts & Humanities Research Council (AHRC), the Economic & Social Research Council (ESRC) and the Engineering & Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC). This interdisciplinary research hub is engaging with key research challenges in the creative economy relating to copyright and digital transformations. Based at the University of Glasgow, CREATe draws upon a consortium of research expertise from 7 participating HEIs across the UK (Glasgow, Edinburgh, Goldsmiths, Nottingham, St Andrews, Strathclyde and UEA).

This post is a three-year Research Fellowship that on the satisfaction of performance conditions will subsequently convert into a permanent lectureship in an appropriate department at the University of Glasgow (the University hosts the Adam Smith Business School, and world leading academic units in law, economics, economic & social history and cultural policy). The candidate is expected to develop a research agenda that opens new economic perspectives specifically on copyright law.
