The European University Institute is seeking to fill a Chair in Economics (ECO10) which will become vacant in September 2014.
The chair is open to any field of economics, though preferences will be given to scholars with an excellent publication record in Empirical Microeconomics, such as labour, development, and health economics, industrial organization and economics of education. Contracts are for five years, renewable for further three years.
In the first stage of the process to fill the chair, the Department of Economics invites expressions of interest from scholars with a distinguished record of publications and experience in graduate-level formal instruction and doctoral supervision as well as a strong academic record.
The Department promotes gender equality and cultural diversity.
