The Department of Economics within the John H. Sykes College of Business at The University of Tampa invites applications for a renewable term position in Economics available fall 2014, at the Assistant Professor level.
The successful applicant will teach Principles of Microeconomics. The teaching load is 12 credit hours per semester.
Applicants should have a Ph.D. in Economics, although applicants that are ABD will be considered. A demonstrated commitment to teaching excellence is required.
The College of Business is AACSB accredited, employs over 70 full-time faculty members, and includes four centers. The College occupies the state of the art John H. Sykes College of Business building, housing the College's 1960 undergraduate and 560 graduate students. The economics department offers a BA degree in economics and a BS degree in business economics and supports a concentration in economics in the MBA program.
