The Voinovich School of Leadership and Public Affairs at Ohio University in Athens, OH seeks a tenure-track Assistant/Associate Professor in Sustainability and Environmental Policy. Candidates must have a Ph.D. (by August 15, 2014) or equivalent, relevant postdoctoral training, and evidence of scholarly research.
We are particularly interested in candidates with teaching and research experience in environmental sustainability, environmental studies, environmental economics, or related environmental policy areas. We are interested in candidates with experience and interest in interdisciplinary, collaborative, and learning by doing educational approaches. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the School's extensive applied work portfolio, develop an interdisciplinary research program, and teach and mentor undergraduate and graduate students at the School.
This is a full-time twelve-month tenure-track engaged faculty appointment in the Voinovich School (www.ohio.edu/voinovichschool). Candidates should be comfortable working in an applied research environment that involves collaborating within the School and across the university with numerous faculty, professional staff, students, and external partners.
