Missouri S&T Economics Department seeks applications for a tenure-track assistant professor to begin August 2014. Applicants should be able to demonstrate skills necessary for quality undergraduate teaching in economics. Preferred teaching interests may include economic statistics, applied econometrics and macroeconomics. Candidates must provide evidence they can engage in productive research, including the ability to publish in refereed economics journals. Research areas may include applied econometrics as related to microeconomics areas. Applicants should have a PhD in hand or progress to achieve it by Aug. 2014. Salary commensurate with qualifications.
