The Department of Economics seeks to fill two temporary, full-time, one-year positions (AA# 40-3-268 and 40-3-310) at the Instructor level, for the 2014-2015 academic year, teaching 12 undergraduate credit hours per semester. Minimum requirement is ABD in economics. Ph.D. in economics and university teaching experience are preferred. Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations is preferred. Course assignments will include, but are not limited to, Principles of Micro and Macroeconomics, Business and Economic Statistics I, and Business and Economic Mathematics. Completed application received by April 14, 2014 will receive full consideration. The positions are open until filled. Finalists for the positions must communicate well and successfully complete a phone interview process, as judged by the department faculty. Recommendation for hiring is needed from a majority of the regular, full-time faculty within the department.
