University of Rhode Island’s Department of Economics seeks candidates for a tenure-track, academic year position at the Assistant Professor level (Fall 2024) with expertise on applied microeconomics, which may include mixed methods and a plurality of approaches, applied broadly to the labor market. Candidates will maintain a program of scholarly research & teach undergraduate courses in economics, including courses on economic research methods and the labor market.
Basic Function:
Teach undergraduate courses in economics including courses on labor economics, economic research methods, maintain a scholarly research program, advise undergraduate students, participate in departmental and university governance and service.
