The Department of Economics at Middlebury College seeks to appoint a new tenure-track colleague in the field of macro-environmental at the assistant professor level, beginning fall 2025. We also welcome applications from candidates whose research focuses on environmental economics more broadly. The successful candidate will be expected to teach environmental and macroeconomics courses in the Economics Department and contribute regularly to the college-wide curriculum, including the first-year seminar program and winter term as part of a full teaching load. Candidates should provide evidence of commitment to excellent teaching and scholarly potential.
