The Department of Economics at National Tsing Hua University invites applications for full-time faculty positions at the rank of assistant, associate or full professor, beginning in August 2026.

Applicants at all levels are welcomed. Promising PhD candidates must complete all degree requirements before August 1, 2026 to be eligible for appointment. All fields of specialization will be considered.

The regular teaching load is 6 hours per week. To facilitate research productivity and a smooth transition, new faculty members will receive a one-course reduction (equivalent to 3 hours) per year during their first three years of appointment.

Taiwanese citizenship is not required. Courses may be taught in either Mandarin or English.
