The University of Northern Iowa's Department of Economics seeks applicants for a tenure-track position as an Assistant Professor of Economics, starting in August 2026. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching courses in macroeconomics, both principles and intermediate, on a regular basis. Other teaching responsibilities, depending on expertise, may include money & banking, statistics, and courses that contribute to the business analytics curricula. The department is open to candidates with a variety of macro-focused research agendas, areas of specialization, and methodological approaches.
