Sponsored by Taiwan’s National Development Fund and several internationally renowned enterprises (including TSMC), the School of Political Science and Economics (SPE; spe.ntu.edu.tw) at National Taiwan University (NTU) is committed to developing a world-class research hub in political economy. SPE adopts an interdisciplinary approach, integrating faculty expertise across political science, economics, and finance. Two master’s programs—MA in Political Economy and MS in Finance—have begun enrolling students in Fall 2025. All the programs at SPE are conducted entirely in English.

We invite applications for multiple open-rank faculty (Assistant/Associate/Full Professor), with a preference for candidates specializing in the following fields:
•International Political Economy
•International Trade and Finance
•Public Economics
•Development Economics

Applicants must demonstrate strong potential in both research and teaching. Preference will be given to candidates with interdisciplinary research agendas, particularly those engaging with the intersection of the social sciences and advanced technologies. A Ph.D. is required by July 2026.
