Southwestern University of Finance and Economics (SWUFE), a top '211' university in finance, economics, accounting, and statistics in China, is located in a historical but affordable city, Chengdu. More information is on (http://www.swufe.edu.cn/).

The School of Statistics and Data Science is one of the most influential schools at SWUFE, comprising four departments: Statistics, Economic Statistics, Data Science, and Quantitative Economics. Institute of Quantitative Economics maintains great expertise in the core discipline areas of econometrics and applied economics, while building clusters of research strength in more specialist subfields-notably theoretical econometrics, finance, environmental economics, industrial organization, labor economics, health economics, and spatial econometrics, and in charge of different levels of econometrics courses all over the university.

In recent years, the school has attracted more than 30 young Ph.D.s from world-class universities to join. The school invites applications from outstanding candidates, majoring in but not limited to econometrics, applied economics, statistics, and data science. We seek candidates whose research has made creative and influential contributions to the scholarly literature in their respective fields.
