The Department of Economics at Vanderbilt University invites applications for a non-tenure-track adjunct teaching position for its new NYC campus in Chelsea during the AY 2026-27. The teaching assignment entails two sections of an undergraduate course in Money and Banking, one section per semester. A successful candidate will have a PhD. in Economics awarded no later than August 1, 2026. Prior professional experience in relevant areas (such as Banking or Finance) would be desirable. Compensation will be commensurate with qualifications and experience, but we expect the salary range to be $9,000 per course. Vanderbilt stresses excellence in teaching in all of its undergraduate programs. The position will remain open until it is filled.
