The Department of Economics at Tulane University invites applications for a full-time, one-year position at the rank of Visiting Assistant Professor to begin Fall 2026 (with the possibility of renewal up to three years). A Visiting Assistant Professor will teach three undergraduate courses per semester at the undergraduate level. Preference will be given to applicants with an advanced degree and demonstrated teaching skills, especially in the main courses involved in this position: introductory microeconomics and macroeconomics (the successful candidate will likely be asked to teach both).

The review of applications will begin April 1, 2026, and will continue until the position is filled.

Qualifications
Candidates should have an advanced degree in economics and a record of excellence in teaching.
