Northwestern College invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track assistant professor of economics position beginning August 2027. The teaching load is 3-3. The successful candidate will also engage in scholarly activity and institutional service, including advising and recruitment.
The successful candidate will teach
Principles of Finance
Investments
Advanced Corporate Finance
Additional courses may include:
Introductory/Intermediate Microeconomics or Macroeconomics
Econometrics
Money and Banking
Behavioral Economics
Managerial Economics
Potentially courses of the candidate’s expertise.
Required Qualifications: Ph.D. in economics or a closely related field; ABD will be considered. Applicants with a master's degree and substantial professional experience may be considered for instructor or professor of practice appointment.
