Assistant Professor of Practice – Economics
The College of Business and Digital Innovation at the University of New Haven–Riyadh (NHU-Riyadh) invites applications for an Assistant Professor of Practice in Economics, beginning January 2027. Located in Misk City, Riyadh, NHU-Riyadh is the University of New Haven’s international branch campus in Saudi Arabia and is building its faculty as it enters its next phase of growth.
The position includes teaching, applied research, service, curriculum development, and student mentoring. Faculty will teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses such as Introduction to Microeconomics, Introduction to Macroeconomics, Global Economy, Economics for Managers, Managing in a Global Economy, and Business Forecasting. Faculty are also expected to contribute to academic assessment, advising, career mentoring, and student-focused activities.
Candidates should hold a Ph.D. in Economics; a master’s degree in a business field combined with significant college-level economics teaching experience may also be considered. Demonstrated teaching excellence, strong communication skills, research potential, and experience with active, experiential, technology-enabled, and AACSB-aligned teaching are highly desirable. Business practice experience and excellent communication skills are pluses.
