The Department of Economics in the Poole College of Management of North Carolina State University in Raleigh, North Carolina, invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of assistant professor in macroeconomics.

Responsibilities include: maintain a successful research agenda that produces publications in high-quality peer-reviewed journals; be an effective teacher at the graduate and undergraduate levels; participate in research with graduate students; supervise PhD dissertations; and provide service to the department, college, and university. We seek a collaborative partner who will engage meaningfully with colleagues and contribute to the department’s intellectual community.

Subject to budget contingencies, the appointment will begin on August 16, 2027. Applicants should hold a PhD by that date.
