The Department of Economics at California State University, Fullerton (CSUF) invites applications for two tenure-track assistant professor positions in Economics with a focus on empirical research. We are particularly interested in candidates conducting research using machine learning methods.

Successful candidates will be expected to develop graduate and undergraduate courses in data analytics with economic applications and will play an important role in advancing the analytical focus of our STEM-certified MA program. They will conduct research in their field(s) of specialization, teach graduate and undergraduate courses in machine learning, as well as core graduate and undergraduate courses in their economic areas of specialization, provide service to the university, and participate in our community.

Qualifications:
A completed Ph.D. degree in Economics at the start of the appointment (Fall 2027);
Demonstrated research potential as evidenced by research record and ongoing research in their areas of specialty with a focus on data analytics;
Demonstrated interest in teaching a diverse student population.
