The University of Cyprus invites applications for two tenure-track positions at the rank of Lecturer or Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics. Applications are welcome in all fields of Economics.
The tenure-track system includes two non-tenured ranks: Lecturer (three-year appointment) and Assistant Professor (four-year appointment). Candidates must hold a Doctorate in Economics or a closely related field from an accredited university. Minimum requirements for each rank are detailed in the full announcement.
The Department’s languages of instruction are Greek and English. Appointees not proficient in Greek must acquire sufficient knowledge within three years of appointment. Candidates need not be Cypriot citizens.
Annual gross salaries, including the 13th salary, are €50,164.04–€81,628.11 for Lecturer and €65,998.93–€89,007.73 for Assistant Professor, before employee contributions.
