Description
Shanghai Advanced Institute of Finance (SAIF) at Shanghai Jiao Tong University invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in Finance, starting on July 1, 2027. While all areas of finance and economics will be considered, we are seeking cross-disciplinary candidates, preferably with expertise in artificial intelligence (AI). The position is open to both rookies and seasoned untenured candidates, with appointment expected at the Assistant Professor level — though exceptional candidates may be considered for a higher rank.

Qualifications
Applicants must have, or be near completion of, a PhD in Finance or a related field by the start of employment. Candidates should have a demonstrated ability and commitment to produce scholarly work at the highest level. We also expect candidates to be effective teachers at the graduate level. Compensation and support for research activities are competitive.
