Tecnológico de Monterrey is seeking an accomplished economist to help lead our next generation of frontier research on the economic issues shaping Mexico, Latin America, and the world. Our researchers regularly partner with RAND Corporation, the Inter-American Development Bank, the World Bank, CAF – Development Bank of Latin America, and leading global universities, translating rigorous research into decision-relevant tools for governments, multilateral organizations, and civil society. We welcome candidates from any field of economics, provided their work meets the standards of a top global economics department. Illustrative fields include applied microeconomics, econometrics, macroeconomics, labor economics, development economics, industrial organization, international trade and finance, public and political economy, environmental and resource economics, health economics, urban and regional economics, financial economics, and behavioral and experimental economics. Ph.D. in Economics. Candidates with a Ph.D. in Econometrics, Agricultural and Applied Economics, Business/Managerial Economics, or Public Policy with a strong economics core will also be considered. We welcome candidates with Ph.D. in Economics, albeit candidates with a Ph.D. in Econometrics, Agricultural and Applied Economics, Business/Managerial Economics, or Public Policy with a strong economics core will also be considered with a solid research trajectory in academia, a think tank, or a multilateral institution.
