SUNY Geneseo, New York State’s public honors college and a nationally recognized public liberal arts college, provides a warm and dynamic learning environment for more than 4,000 students. The AACSB-accredited School of Business is home to over 900 students and offers seven undergraduate majors and two graduate majors.

The fellowship is for a 12-month appointment for two years, with the goal of conversion to a tenure-track assistant professorship at the successful conclusion of the fellowship. More information about the fellowship is available at https://www.suny.edu/prodig-plus/fellowship/

We are seeking a teacher-scholar who will support the School’s growing finance program.
Primary job responsibilities include:

1)Teaching two 3-credit courses every Fall and Spring semester in Finance. Courses may include Corporate Finance, Financial Modeling, and other courses that align with the faculty’s academic preparation and professional experience and meet the school’s evolving needs.

2) Contributing to the field through published scholarship and other scholarly activities consistent with the AACSB qualification of Scholarly Academics.

3)Collaborating with the other business faculty members to support curriculum development and innovation, including updating existing courses and developing new courses and/or programs in Finance.

4)Participating in other school-wide service, including advising and mentoring students, at a reduced service load.
