The Graduate School of Economics at the University of Osaka invites applications for one faculty position in any field of economics. The appointment will be made at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor, beginning in September 2027 or as soon thereafter as possible.
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
(1) Hold a doctoral degree or be expected to obtain one before the date of appointment.
(2) Have sufficient proficiency in Japanese to perform their duties, including the ability to teach undergraduate courses in Japanese, and be able to teach graduate courses in English.
(3) Have published or accepted for publication single-authored or coauthored papers in leading international peer-reviewed journals in their respective fields of economics, or in international journals of equivalent or higher standing.
