The Department of Economics and Finance of the J. Whitney Bunting College of Business at Georgia College invites applications for an academic year, tenure track position beginning August 1, 2015. A Ph.D. in economics is preferred before the date of employment. The successful candidate will be assigned teaching responsibilities at the undergraduate level, as well as managerial economics in our MBA program. The willingness and expertise to teach public economics, managerial finance, and economic history is a plus. We also value research collaboration with undergraduates. Subject to budgetary approval, we may also be hiring for a second position in the field of public economics. Georgia College is an AA/EOE institution.
