Assistant/Associate/Full Professor in the areas of microeconomics and/or econometrics. This is a full-time, nine-month, tenure-eligible position with a 50:40:10 division between teaching, research and service. The standard teaching load is two, three-semester hour courses per semester.
A Ph.D. in economics is required with a specialization in microeconomics and/or econometrics. Exceptional candidates in other fields may be considered.
The successful candidate must be able to provide excellent instruction at the undergraduate and master's levels and develop a nationally recognized research program.
Formal review of applications will begin November 15, 2014 and continue until a suitable candidate is hired.
The USU campus is in Logan, Utah, a community of about 40,000 located in a picturesque mountain valley about 80 miles north of Salt Lake City.
