The Department of Economics at the University of Waterloo seeks to fill one tenure-track position at the assistant professor level for July 1, 2015. We are looking for a candidate in industrial organization or applied microeconomics. The successful candidate is expected to contribute to the Department of Economics at the main campus in Waterloo, as well as in programs at Waterloo's Stratford campus and be an integral part of both units. The successful candidate will provide evidence of the ability to develop a successful research program in the economics of innovation and the digital economy. Economic issues associated with innovation and entrepreneurship in an evolving digital economy are of particular interest. Candidates must have completed a PhD in Economics by July 1, 2015. All candidates must demonstrate excellence or the potential for excellence as teachers and researchers.
