Drake University, a private comprehensive university dedicated to quality teaching, seeks applications for a full-time tenure-track Assistant Professor of Economics position teaching Principles of Economics, Economics of Developing Countries, and other undergraduate courses. Normal teaching load is three courses (nine credit hours) per semester. Excellence in teaching, research, advising, and service or outreach is expected.

A PhD in Economics at time of appointment is preferred, but ABD candidates close to completion will be considered. All candidates must provide evidence of effective teaching and an active research program.
