The School of Economics at Henan University (Kaifeng, China) invites applicants for two permanent/full-time positions. Ranks and fields are open, however, the emphasis will be on microeconomics and economic history. Candidates should hold a Ph.D. in Economics or related discipline from a leading university. ABDs must have completed their Doctorate at time of appointment. The successful candidate should demonstrate interest and ability to conduct high level research. Senior appointments are expected to assume a leadership role. The university provides excellent research conditions with a low teaching load. Salaries are competitive and will be commensurate with qualification.

Henan University, established in 1912, is the flagship university in Henan Province. The city of Kaifeng is an ancient capital of China, brimming with culture and historical significance.
