The Office of the New York State Attorney General ("OAG") is seeking a Ph.D. Economist for a Microeconomics Research Fellowship. The Microeconomics Research Fellow will work closely with the OAG's Chief Economist on key policy areas such as antitrust and securities. The Fellowship offers a unique opportunity to conduct economic research in support of key investigations, litigation, and policy initiatives. It primarily requires the application of empirical research to the study of law and public policy issues pursued by the OAG. The Fellowship is a two-year term appointment and will be located in New York City.
The ideal candidate has completed a Ph.D. in Industrial Organization, Microeconomics, Econometrics or other relevant fields. The OAG is looking for candidates who possess a genuine interest in public policy and are motivated to apply rigorous economic research to investigate such policies.
