The Department of Economics announces a tenure-track assistant professor position to begin August 2015. We seek a scholar with expertise in economic education at the primary, secondary and university levels. Responsibilities include serving as Director of the Department's Center for Economic Education, which collaborates with Omaha area K-12 schools, businesses and other organizations, conducting research, and teaching classes at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Experience teaching micro and/or macroeconomics at the principles level is highly desirable. In addition to economic education, the department is open to other areas of specialization. Candidates must have a PhD in economics, or expect to complete their degree by September 1, 2015.
