The Department of Economics in the College of Arts and Sciences at the University at Buffalo, SUNY seeks to hire, effective August 13, 2015, one tenure-track assistant professor, in the following areas: Open Economy/International Finance and/or IO/Innovation. Ability to teach Financial Economics is a plus. Affiliation as a Research Associate in the Center of Human Capital is possible
Position responsibilities include teaching at all levels, research and scholarly work as well as developing external funding and participating in faculty activities suitable to academic rank.
Applicants must possess or have completed a PhD degree by August 2015. Preference will be given to candidates with strong research records and an active research agenda.
