The University of Dubuque invites applications for a full-time faculty position in economics beginning August, 2015. Preferred qualifications include an earned doctorate and teaching experience. ABD with pending completion will be considered. Responsibilities include teaching 24 credit hours per year, advising students, maintaining a scholarship agenda, and participating in the broader life of the University. Classes taught will include standard introductory courses in economics, undergraduate and MBA managerial economics, as well as international trade and/or policy classes. One of these classes is expected to involve a travel component.
The University of Dubuque (UD) was founded in 1852 and maintains its historic ties to the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.).
