Residing in the Investment Bank, the Financial Strategy and Solutions Group (FSG) is Citi’s premier corporate finance advisory resource, and plays a central role in deepening relationships with Citi's major corporate clients. We focus on providing innovative applied research, customized client strategies, and executable transaction solutions alongside our industry partners in the Investment Bank. Our expertise spans a wide array of empirical corporate finance topics including capital structure, valuation, M&A, distribution policy, and risk management. As part of our research initiative, we also regularly publish globally distributed reports on the most important and relevant issues in finance for corporate executives and managers. FSG consists of professionals based in New York, London, Mumbai, Hong Kong, Singapore, Seoul, and Tokyo, with a broad variety of professional backgrounds.

Who We’re Looking For
We are seeking candidates who have earned or expect to receive their Ph.D. in Finance, Accounting, or Economics, with a focus on empirical corporate finance. Candidates must have excellent communication skills, a very high level of motivation, and a strong desire in developing and applying academic research to solve real-world corporate finance problems.
