The W.E. Upjohn Institute invites applications for a postdoctoral scholar position. The Institute is an endowed, nonprofit research organization that conducts independent, nonpartisan research on employment-related issues. The purpose of the position is to bring talented researchers to the Institute to interact with its research staff and to conduct research of mutual interest. The ideal candidate for the postdoctoral scholar position should have a strong interest in policy-oriented issues and have completed his or her PhD between April 2014 and August 2015. The Institute is interested in research on issues related to employment, compensation, education, workforce development programs, and social insurance systems. The appointments are for a maximum of one year. The Institute provides a competitive salary and access to research assistants, library services, and computer support. Those selected are expected to contribute to the Institute’s working paper and seminar series.
