The University of Wyoming is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Assistant Professor with expertise in one or more of the following areas: agribusiness marketing, sales, or management; agricultural market structure and performance; agricultural supply chain management; U.S. or international food or agricultural distribution systems. The position will be located in the Department of Agricultural and Applied Economics at the University of Wyoming in Laramie. This is a nine-month, tenure-track, faculty position with 45% teaching, 50% research and 5% service. Applicants must have a PhD or equivalent at the time of hire in Agricultural Business, Agricultural Economics, Applied Economics, Business, or Economics with a specialization in agribusiness. Strong training in agribusiness theory and quantitative methods is required, as well as excellent oral and written communication skills, documented evidence of a commitment to high-quality undergraduate teaching and advising, and documented evidence of potential for success in publishing scholarly work in one or more of the advertised areas.
