The Department of Economics is accepting applications for a three-year renewable instructor position. Primary teaching duties include introductory courses in microeconomics and macroeconomics. While the official teaching load is 15 hours per semester, the person in this position will teach 4 courses per semester (12 hours) and perform additional duties, which include providing workshops through the Center for Economic Education and departmental-level service. The successful candidate should have prior teaching experience, an interest in innovative teaching methods, and an enthusiasm for helping others to teach economics. A master’s degree in Economics is required.
