The Department of Economics, Mathematics and Statistics invites applications for a Lectureship (akin to an assistant professorship in the USA) in Economics. You will teach on undergraduate and graduate programmes, contribute to curriculum development and publish internationally excellent research.

Your research and teaching in areas of applied economics will increase the breadth and variety of course offerings, nourishing the growth of our BSc programmes. You will embrace Birkbeck’s commitment to access and opportunity in higher education in a research-intensive environment through evening teaching and flexible, innovative provision. You should have a Ph.D. or be near completion.
