Full Text of JOE Listing:
We are seeking a research officer for the project 'Neo-ticketing' funded by the Digital R&D Fund for the Arts. The project is a joint exercise between the Firestation Centre for Arts & Culture in Windsor and the Economics Department at Royal Holloway. We are studying how dynamic pricing can lead to shifts in demand patterns, potential revenue enhancement and a greater sense of 'membership'. The researcher will work with Professor Jeff Frank and Dr Maris Goldmanis.
The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in empirical applications, and will typically have a PhD in Economics, be near completion of one, or have equivalent research experience.
This is a .80 time fixed term post (reflected in the salary range posted) available from January 2015 or as soon as possible thereafter until September 2015.
Informal enquiries can be made to Jeff Frank on j.frank@rhul.ac.uk. The post is formally advertised on the College web-site.
