Full Text of JOE Listing:
The position will be responsible for developing an economics research program focused on fishery and marine resources at the PEARL. The position will help to expand the ongoing work to find sustainable solutions to managing fishery resources of the Chesapeake Bay. The candidate must have a Ph.D. in resource economics or closely related field. Knowledge of and experience with fisheries management a plus. He/she must have the capacity for independent work but also the ability to interact productively with colleagues, particularly in related fields such as fisheries population dynamics and ecology. Strong oral and written communication skills are required.
