The School of International Relations and Pacific Studies at UC San Diego http://irps.ucsd.edu invites applications for tenured senior (associate or possibly full) professor in the area of international political economy or public policy to begin July 1, 2015.
The reviewing committee will give broad particular emphasis to the field of international political economy but will also give close consideration to candidates broadly in the field of public policy. Examples of applicants include political scientists within the field of international relations whose research focuses on how institutions affect economic policy, multilateral cooperation, or international conflict. Scholars with backgrounds in comparative politics, focused on public policy or the politics of policy design or implementation are also encouraged to apply. IR/PS has a special interest in candidates who can participate in the teaching mission of a school that is focused on professional master’s students in public policy and international affairs. Applicants must have a PhD.
