Based in Washington, DC, Bates White Economic Consulting is seeking candidates who expect to receive their PhD by summer 2015, as well as experienced individuals with PhDs, to work closely with senior staff, partners, and academic experts to solve advanced economic, financial, and econometric challenges for law firms, Fortune 500 companies, and government agencies. Responsibilities include economic research, empirical analysis, report and presentation preparation, and project management.

We are especially seeking individuals who specialize in industrial organization (IO), applied econometrics, applied microeconomics, healthcare economics, and labor. We are also interested in individuals with specialties in financial economics and other mathematical and quantitative methods.

Candidates should possess strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to work in teams, think creatively, analyze complex data, and develop clear, concise, and logical documents.
