The University of Adelaide is Australia's third-oldest university and a leader in Australian higher education.
The School of Economics is seeking to appoint an exceptional individual as Professor and Head of School.
As Professor, you will play a leading role in research and teaching. The School of Economics is strongly research-oriented with a large undergraduate program.
As Head of School, you will play a key role in representing the School. The Head is also responsible for staff development and management, and for financial and infrastructure management. You will have the capacity to provide strong, cohesive leadership in the core responsibilities of education and research in the discipline of Economics. A successful track record in leadership in a complex educational and research environment, a distinguished research record, and a demonstrated commitment to teaching excellence and student support is expected.
Term of Position: Professor (Level E) is continuing; Head of School is for three years.
Salary: An attractive salary package will be negotiated.
