Appointment: August 10, 2015

Responsibilities: Teaching, Research, and Service. Teach undergraduate- and graduate-level classes in economics and decision sciences, with specialization in Macroeconomics, Development Economics, and Applied Econometrics. Engage in research and be able to publish in quality journals. Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to meet the research requirements for tenure and promotion in a program accredited by AACSB. Also engage in service activities in the department, college, and university level committees.

Salary: Salary is competitive with our peer group institutions.

Required Qualifications: Ph.D. in Economics/ Decision Sciences from an accredited university required by position appointment date. The position requires specialization in Macroeconomics, Development Economics, and Applied Econometrics. Evidence of independent teaching experience is required.

Preferred Qualifications: Evidence of teaching effectiveness in the required specializations. Preference given to candidates with macro and applied econometrics. Willingness to develop and deliver innovative traditional and distance-learning classes.

The Department: The department offers following degree programs: B.A., B. B., and M.A.in Economics, and a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate Program in Business Analytics. The Master of Science in Applied Statistics and Decision Analytics is currently awaiting final approval. The department participates in teaching courses at the MBA level, and offers Minors in Economics and Business Analytics.
