The Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO) whose mission is to enhance the fiscal and financial stability, accountability and integrity of the Government of the District of Columbia is in search of a Fiscal Analyst. This position is located in the Office of the Chief Financial Officer, Office of Revenue Analysis. The incumbent collaborates in applying analytical and evaluative methods and techniques to issues/studies concerning the efficiency and effectiveness of program operations. Some of the specific duties include independent research, selecting the research methodology to be used, conducting analysis of the economic base of the District of Columbia, the potential revenue produced by the economy, changes in policy options and/or long-term financial expectations.

One (1) year of specialized experience performing the related duties and responsibilities is required. Applicants with a degree in theory and methods of economics, statistics, finance, accounting, public administration, business administration, public policy, operational research or other related field is desired.
