We seek professionals excited by the analytical, political, implementation and evaluation challenges of evidence-based policymaking. NCAER provides its faculty with unparalleled opportunities to work on complex policy problems, use NCAER’s unique data sets or collect new data, contribute to national policymaking at the highest levels, publish professionally, and proactively reach out to the print, digital, and social media.Applicants must have strong empirical skills, high-quality PhD/Master’s degrees in Economics, Applied Statistics, Survey Research, Demography, Sociology or other social sciences, or a world-class MPA/MBA.
Senior Fellows provide mature intellectual leadership, manage research programs, mentor younger staff, and have a strong post-PhD research, fund-raising, publications, or teaching record built across multiple, past positions.
Fellows are mid-career professionals with a strong, post-PhD record of applied research, project management, teaching, or publications demonstrated over one or more previous positions
Associate Fellows have fully/partially completed PhDs with cutting-edge empirical skills and demonstrable research experience. Exceptional MPAs/MBAs/MAs will be considered.
Appointments are on renewable, 3-year contracts; shorter-term arrangements can be considered.
