The economics division of the School of Economics and Business Administration invites applications for a lecturer or an associate professor position in international finance starting Fall 2015. Ph.D. in Economics is required, though ABD with a firm completion date before the appointment will also be considered. The applicant must have an established record of excellence in both research and teaching.　The language of instruction is English or Japanese, though a command of conversational Japanese or willingness to learn the language is desirable. The new faculty member will be expected to conduct high-quality research publishable in leading academic journals, and teach international finance and related courses both at undergraduate and graduate levels.
